When I first started considering moving to the Flex Radio line, I was a bit hesitant. I really got to learn and love my FTDX10, but I felt the need for change. I have to say now after owning the Flex-6400 for several months, yeah, I know now they are releasing the 8000 series and I may consider upgrading, I have never been happier. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’ve been able to eliminate all the virtual com port issues I was having, which was a real pain, and some of the other features have really come in handy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For instance, a couple of weeks ago I was trying to work the DXPedition CY9C, which had quite the pileup, as expected, I set the mic to DX2, and second call, I was able to break through and work them, 59. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
